Learn to Read Step 3: -at words

Even before your child starts learning to read, buy a few early phonics books for them so you can read to them. Children learn by being read to repeatedly.

These books include only words with the -at sounds (with the exception of a handful of sight words like “the”). Eventually, these will be the first books your child can read by themselves.
